Hoffmann Woodworking & Fine Furniture has been designing and fabricating custom furniture, cabinetry, and millwork in Santa Barbara, CA, since 2001.

Serving architects, designers, contractors, and home owners locally and internationally has allowed Hoffmann Woodworking & Fine Furniture to design and fabricate in many different styles from modern to traditional. We are able to provide design services and enjoy working closely with clients throughout all phases of their project.

As a licensed Finish Carpentry Contractor, and also specializing in furniture reproductions, furniture repair, and antique restoration, Hoffmann Woodworking & Fine Furnituree is able to serve all of our client's woodworking needs.

Owner, Joel Hoffmann, founded Hoffmann Woodworking & Fine Furniture after moving to Santa Barbara in 2000 from the East Coast, where he received his education. Joel earned his first degree in Fine Furniture Making & Design from the School for American Crafts at the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York.

Joel went on to attend the highly acclaimed North Bennet Street School in Boston, Massachussets. There he studied under master craftsmen to further sharpen his skills in the art of fine furniture and furniture reproductions. The school taught only the best methods and technique derived from the 18th century, which is considered to be the peak era of fine furniture craftsmanship and technique.

Joel's passion is providing creatively designed, high-end, meticulously crafted furniture, cabinets and wood products that are built to be enjoyed for generations.
